Storm Dennis: BBC News remembered the devastating flooding in Wales one year ago and the flooding clean-up which took many months to complete.

In February 2020, many areas of Wales were affected by heavy rainfall from Storm Dennis which then led to devastating flooding.

People in South Wales communities have described the devastation caused by the flooding from Storm Dennis one year ago and the impact the heavy rainfall had on their lives.

A month’s worth of rain fell in 48 hours in February 2020, leaving parts of Wales flooded.

Heavy rain has again been forecast, and resident of the areas affected by flooding in 2020 are preparing for the worst.
