The CPD session, which is being organised by the Truro Hub is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 23rd May, at the Guildhall in Plymouth.
Guest speaker Chris Pascoe will be discussing how the various types of moisture, such as rain saturation, absorbed during construction can cause delays and potentially incur late completion penalties. This can also lead to post occupation mould of new properties, causing a problem for residents.
The session will help attendees to manage these projects impacted by the effects of weather, whilst helping to understand how to dry certain construction materials effectively.
This CPD session examines moisture and how it affects materials, locating moisture in materials, drying and restoring structures, and smart technology for moisture drying.
